Ichigo (Itsugo) in Anime Origins

Summon the Rare Itsugo (Ichigo) base from the banner, then evolve through its rarity stages to Itsugo (Dangai).

How to get and evolve Itsugo → Itsugo (Dangai)

  1. Find Itsugo, the in-game name for Ichigo, in your summon roster.
  2. Keep that copy and complete its Rare → Epic → Legendary → Mythic evolution chain.
  3. Farm Remnants through Challenges and the crafting station; check each new form before spending materials for the next step.

Dangai gains damage as enemies travel farther along the path (Bloxodes unit index). Place him where his range overlaps a later bend, with another unit covering the opening waves.

Compare damage, control and evolution cost when choosing your next team upgrade.

Is it worth it?

Should you spend gems on this unit?

A unit is worth the gems if it fills a missing team role and carries waves — not just because it is a high tier.

If you are missing this role

Use Itsugo for ground damage and keep a Hill or Hybrid attacker for flying enemies.

If you already have this slot covered

If flying waves cause losses, add anti-air coverage before another ground damage upgrade.

How it plays

Running Ichigo as a Ground carry with a Rare-to-Mythic evolution chain

Choose where to place this unit, what to upgrade first and which teammates to bring.

What it does for the team

Use Itsugo for ground damage and keep a Hill or Hybrid attacker for flying enemies.

Where to spend your gems

Build the Rare copy you already own before spending solely to replace it with a higher-rarity pull.

Upgrade and evolution priority

Finish the next evolution step you can afford. A Rare base and a finished Dangai are different investment stages.

Best traits and placement

For boss stages, choose Ascendant: +35% boss damage, +10% damage and +10% range. For a general-purpose build, keep Ace (+10% damage, −5% cooldown, +10% range) and spend the remaining resources on the Dangai evolution.

Best modes for this role

Long Story paths give Dangai more distance to exploit than a short route near the spawn.

When to reconsider it

If flying waves cause losses, add anti-air coverage before another ground damage upgrade.

Turn it into the loop

A unit only pays off if it clears waves. Chain it into the systems that make it hit harder.
