Anime Origins Story Mode: Normal, Hard and Legend
Clear the world, claim first-clear rewards, then use Legend stages for the item your next evolution needs.
First session route
Start in Normal with an affordable damage unit. Place it to cover a bend, add a farm once the opening waves are safe, and bring a Hill attacker before flying enemies become the failure point. Claim quest and first-clear rewards as you unlock each world.
Normal, Hard and Legend
Normal introduces the route. Hard reuses the world with tougher waves. Legend stages unlock through completed world progression and provide specific evolution and quest materials; they are useful even when another stage is a faster gem farm.

Read rewards correctly
The launch guide’s roughly 1,800-gem figure refers to a Story first-clear reward example, not every replay. Its repeatable Normal example is about 80 gems in six minutes at 1×. Compare your own result screen because stage, difficulty and event bonuses change the rate.
Prepare for the Hard wall
Identify what gets through. Add Hill coverage for air, damage or control for a surviving boss, and farms when upgrade money runs short. A useful low-tier trait is enough to begin; do not make Immortal a prerequisite for trying Hard.
Choose the next stage by your goal
If you need a named evolution item, run its Legend stage or mode shop route. If you need gems, compare reliable completed runs including downtime. If you need Madara quest progress, equip the required artifact and follow that quest’s map and wave objective.

Should I farm the hardest stage?
Only if its reward per total time and win rate beats your easier option, or it drops the item you specifically need.
What should I fix when air enemies leak?
Add or reposition a Hill or Hybrid attacker; another ground-only damage upgrade does not cover air.
